The Polytechnic University and Shushi Technological University start new cooperation: Gor Vardanyan and Nver Mikayelyan have signed the agreement

Shushi Technological University was hosted at the Engineering Institution of Armenia, at the Polytechnic University. Taking into account the necessity of inter-university cooperation provision, effective utilization of scientific, technical and staff potential and exchange of leading experience, university rectors Gor Vardanyan and Nver Mikayelyan signed the Memorandum of Cooperation.

NPUA Rector informed the guests that they previously discussed directions and content of the cooperation. Gor Vardanyan assured that under these conditions NPUA can participate and have its influence on the higher education system of Artsakh as well as participate in the organization of effective education and added: “International cooperation of the Polytechnic University with leading scientific and educational institutions of the world enables us to involve the scientific community of Artsakh as well as speak about different problems on different platforms”.

Rector of Shushi Technological University Never Mikayelyan pointed out that the long awaited cooperation has started.

“I am happy and have high expectations from this cooperation. This cooperation has its significance for the future development of the educational and scientific sphere of Artsakh. I am thankful that we have reached this stage and I am sure that we will closely work with students, lecturers and other programs” – Mikayelyan pointed out in his speech.

The cooperation will allow us to organize round tables, master classes, implement academic exchange and a number of other important events.

At the event NPUA Rector pointed out that the cooperation is an opportunity to make some changes in the moral and ethical condition under this complex situation together with scientific community and students.

Gor Vardanyan hopes that after the signing of the cooperation, representatives of the scientific community and educational divisions will be involved in effective cooperation.
