Structure
The governance of the university is implemented according to RA legislation and NPUA Charter, on the basis of self-governance, in combination with the principles of sole governance and collegiality, by the means of performance of functions of NPUA Board of Trustees, Scientific Council and the Rector’s office.
NPUA Board of Trustees is a collegial governance body, which is formed by the representatives of the RA government, Ministry of Science and Education, NPUA academic staff and 8 representatives from student population (overall – 32 members).
The activities of the Board include the approval of the budget, strategic programs, hearing and appraisal of annual statements, elections of the Rector and branch directors, as well as the introduction to the RA Government for proposals to amend and supplement the Charters of the NPUA and its branches.
The governance of NPUA current activities аre implemented by the executive body of the university, the Rector’s office.
The Rector’s office is a consultative body under the Rector, formation and authorities are determined according to NPUA Charter.
