Innovation Incubator

        

“NPUA Innovation Incubator” was founded in the framework of Erasmus+ "Enhancing
Innovation Competences and Entrepreneurial Skills in Engineering Education" (InnoCENS)
project funded by the EU. Its mission is to support the development of student startups and
implementation of new business ideas by providing incubator-rich business environment,
technical knowledge and guidance. The activities of the “NPUA Innovation Incubator” is directed
to support the innovative ideas, as well as to promote of university-industry cooperation.

The wide objective of the project is to: support socio-economical development in Armenia, Georgia, Belarus and Kazakhstan by developing innovative and entrepreneurial higher education, promoting university-industry cooperation facilitating commercialization of innovative ideas.

The specific objectives are to:

  • Develop and start a new master course on Innovation system for engineers
  • Develop and start a new master course on Entrepreneurship for engineers
  • Introduce innovation pedagogy and innovation competence assessment
  • Establish 8 innovation centers at partner universities
  • Support students and staff to commercialese innovation ideas and create new start-ups
  • Organize an innovation competition for students and staff members
  • Disseminate the results to other universities in partner countries.
