Leadership of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia, its academic staff, employees and students inform about the death of the Head of the Chair of Social Sciences of General Economic Sector of NPUA Marine Karmeni Aghayan.

1978. Aghayan finished Yerevan Nr 87 secondary school with Gold Medal in 1978.

In 1982 she graduated from the faculty of “Planning and economics” of Yerevan National Economy Institute, majoring Industrial planning.

In 1985 she graduated from post-graduate education at the Institute of Economics of ASSR AS.

In 1994 she graduated from Yerevan K. Marx Polytechnic Institute.

She worked at “ArmSavingsBank” till 1998 as a leading specialist.

In 2003, on the occasion of YPI-SEUA 70^th anniversary, in recognition of her diligent work at State Engineering University of Armenia, she was awarded a certificate of Gratitude.

In 2006, SCC of RA has awarded M. Aghayan the title of an associate professor.

In 2008, on the occasion of the 75^th anniversary of the State Engineering University of Armenia, in recognition of productive activities at the university and her contribution, she was awarded the Certificate of Recognition.

In 2009, she has taken the first place in the events dedicated to the 15^th anniversary of the Student Council by being elected as the “Most Beloved and Recognized Lecturer” of the Faculty of Energetics.

She has authored 16 monographs, and 9 educational and teaching works.
