Competition for “Anush Matevosyan scholarship” program for the freshmen of the 2022/2023 academic year

Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR) within the frames of “Anush Matevosyan scholarship” program announces competition for the freshmen studying at full-time bachelor’s degree at National Polytechnic University of Armenia, are socially deprived and demonstrate high academic performance.

Only the following students can participate in the competition:

  1. a) Have entered NPUA, Institute of Information and Telecommunication Technologies and the Institute of Electronics, Energetics and Electrical Engineering, Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Transport Systems and Design (only study programs of aviation equipment of flying machines, and robotics and mechatronics) and Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Physics,
  2. b) Have had high performance at school, have passed the unified exams getting good or excellent marks and have entered the fee-paying education system,
  3. c) Are from socially deprived families,
  4. d) Are obliged to live and work in Armenia or Artsakh for minimum of four years after finishing their education,
  5. e) Priority will be given to applicants that have received high marks from unified exams.

Students satisfying all the above-mentioned conditions after the exams, from July 20 to August 5, 2022 should submit the following documents to the Armenian branch office of FAR located at Yerevan, Movses Khorenatsi 22 or send email to [email protected][email protected]:

Application form (to get the form, please refer to the above-mentioned addresses of Facebook page of FAR facebook.com/farusa/ (Fund for Armenian Relief),

Copy of passport,

1 photo (3×4),

Copy of school leaving certificate,

Reference on the mark received from the unified exam,

Copy of the certificate from ATC approved list from MESCS of RA, or reference from the university,

Reference proving the fact of the disadvantaged family (if available),

Reference from the workplace of parents, noting their job description and salary and in case of unemployment, reference given from the regional employment center or copy of the employment record on current employment or reasons of unemployment,

Short biography should be included and reasons for applying for the program.

Incomplete documents will not be considered.

Election of the beneficiaries will take place in 2 rounds:

Consideration of the documents submitted,

Online interview with the applicant will be held at the presence of the family.

Decision to involve the student in the program will be made by the study programs commission of FAR from August 29 to 31.
