NPUA Chair of Foreign Languages has organized the Olympiad for bachelor’s students from English, French and German. The first round of the Olympiad took place on April 14.

Students studying English and German in their first year and college participated in the Olympiad. During the first round, students’ grammar knowledge and vocabulary were tested. After the checking of the works, students that have received 40 from 50 points passed to the second round.

The second round of the Olympiad took place on May 12. 8 students from college and bachelor’s degree participated in the Olympiad. Topicality of the presentations, speech flow and language skills were assessed as well as skills to answer the questions. According to the results of the commission discussions, the places were allocated as follows:

Kasparyan Gohar (C 95) took the first place.

Elen Hovsepyan (C 05) and Sofia Gharibyan (M 143-1) took the second place.

Anushavan Grigoryan (M 043-1), Khachatryan Anahit (IT 155-1), Ruben Vardanyan (C 04-4) took the third place.

Incentive prizes will be given to Ruben Marutyan (IT 119-2), Milena Makarova (IT 121-3), and Ruben Baghramyan (IT 122-2).

Winners will be awarded certificates of honor and prizes.
