On September 18, the National Polytechnic University of Economics hosted 6 lecturers from Aix-Marseilles University and 22 Master’s students from the final group of 2018 exam period from specialties “Hygiene Quality”, “Security Quality” and “Environmental Quality”.

Delegation of Aix-Marseille University visited Armenia for the duration of one week to organize the defense of final master’s theses and getting acquainted with our country.

The delegation was headed by Professor Isabel Pouliqen responsible for professional master’s Quality education.

It is tradition for Aix-Marseille University every year to organize the defense of final thesis in one country outside France.

Open defense of final theses was carried out on September 20 at the hall of sessions of the Scientific Council.

The final master’s theses referred to quality, security, chemistry, hygiene, environment, management, standardization, logistics etc.

Group of students was multinational, multi-lingual and the working language of the event was chosen to be French.

According to the format of French side besides the French lecturers, one representative from local institution is elected to sit at each defense commission.

In National Polytechnic University of Armenia “Robotics” laboratory scientific employee Sarik Ghazaryan was elected.

Final master’s theses were considered devoted to hygiene, security and environment quality of 22 different national and transnational organizations.

The students had excellent theoretical knowledge and did practical works in employer organizations, were very professional that was proven by their speeches.

We hope that such events will assist the connections between Armenia and France and will encourage the establishment of university programs in the specialty of quality in Armenia.
