The Nursery school of National Polytechnic University of Armenia was established in 1985. The rector Rafayel Movsisyan, Chairman of the Women Committee of the Polytechnic University Rima Demirtschyan and chief accountant Anush Abovyan had put effort and enthusiasm into its establishment. Inspired by their initiative, in 1982, architects Armen Arustamyan and Ashot Kanayan designed a very unique complex that started its functioning in 1985.
