Yerevan High school of National polytechnic university of Armenia carries out general educational programs of the 3rd degree of secondary education and provides teaching and upbringing of learners according to the demands of those programs. The subject matter of school activities is the implementation of general educational primary and additional programs. The programs comprise a profound teaching of streaming and separate subjects.

The school objective is to provide high academic performance for students in learning processes, as well as multi-faceted development of the individual, their health security, self-education and creation of satisfactory conditions for the additional education as well as application of international criteria for quality assurance, evaluation and control.  

High school of Polytechnic offers such demanding and interdisciplinary academic programs that incentivize the formation of learners’ research skills and capabilities, involve them in project activities, which is necessary for conscious choice of the future profession. We involve the learners in creative and analytical thinking and cooperation settings for them to perceive and aspire to continue working on their personal development and leadership goals.  Yerevan High school of National polytechnic university of Armenia (formerly, SEUA main lyceum) functions starting from 1994. Previously it was a general education institution subordinate to RA Ministry of Science and Education, and in 2011, by the decree of RA government, the general lyceum was reorganized by uniting with SEUA. Currently, 655 pupils study at NPUA Yerevan High school. A profound streaming teaching of natural science and math and technical directions is performed in the school. Specifically, the natural sciences and math as well as technological, economic and design streaming groups function at the school. The objective of the latter is to form own opinions about natural sciences and mathematics and technical specialties, with the implementation of these and additional programs to prepare graduates having necessary primary knowledge and orientation to get enrolled in Polytechnic university to continue their higher education.

NPUA Yerevan High school up to now had many honored graduates that continued and continue their education at different higher education institutions, primarily at NPUA. Many graduates are involved in science, industrial and high technology spheres of the republic. 60 graduates are PhD in physical and mathematical as well as technical spheres. 

NPUA Yerevan High school provides excellent educational services thanks to its devoted teachers, many being members of the academic staff of NPUA as well. The significant results of their activities are the awards that the best pupils get from RA President every year, as well as numerous awards and certificates of honor received from international and republican Olympiads.
