Center for Continuing Education and lecturer trainings

The center organizes and coordinates NPUA teaching staff’s specialized trainings, implementation of courses for qualification enhancement and analysis of the respective results. It develops and expands NPUA additional and continuing education system, making it an effective and economically beneficial university division, diversifies additional and continuing education programs providing its availability for different layers of the society.

In 2010, thanks to signing of the memorandum between NPUA top management and executives of “Microsoft” organization’s Armenian office, “Microsoft” IT academy was founded. It enabled to organize training courses by certified educational programs, corresponding to international criteria.

In 2015, taking into account the expansion of the center’s activity sphere, it was renamed to Continuing education and lecturer training center. Currently, the courses implemented at the center comprise all main directions of “Microsoft” company and conform to all official training programs.

In 2015, the training process for NPUA lecturers started again at the center, where around 400 lecturers are currently involved. The current condition and results of the training processes of the lecturers are introduced in the corresponding system that is available at www.itacademy.am.

Starting from 2012, CE and LT center has trained around 2300 attendees, majority of who are from Polytechnic. There are participants from YSU, Slavonic and American universities of Armenia, as well as from other HEIs. The prime reason of success of the center is its high level of training.

The fee-based courses implemented at the center comprise a total of 20,000 Armenian drams. There are discounts for NPUA students, NPUA high school students, NPUA lecturers, their children and grandchildren.
