The delegation of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia is currently participating in an international training program organized by the CIFAL Shanghai International Training Center in Shanghai.

The delegation of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia is currently participating in an international training program organized by the CIFAL Shanghai International Training Center in Shanghai.

With the mediation of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Armenia, the delegation from the National Polytechnic University of Armenia is attending this international training program. The CIFAL Shanghai International Training Center is a professional institution engaged in consultancy, research, collaborative connections, and training in the fields of global economy and informatization.

This program, conducted in cooperation with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and the Regional Cooperation Office for City Informatization (RCOCI), aims to provide government officials and company managers with structured learning and knowledge exchange opportunities in sustainable development, urban management, scientific and technological innovation, and the application of information technology.

The Armenian delegation is participating in various courses and seminars, including:

– General overview of China, including the country’s natural resources, political system, and stages of economic development.
– Fundamental concepts and theories of information security.
– Legislation, policies, and practices of information security.
– Data security practices and system management.

Within the program, the Armenian delegation presented a report on the state and development trends of cybersecurity in Armenia, highlighting the current situation and future prospects in the field. The delegation is visiting various institutes and organizations to learn about the best practices and technologies used in data security and cybersecurity in China.

During the program’s opening ceremony, the vice-rector of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia, Dr. Elbak Elbakyan, delivered a speech. In his address, Dr. Elbakyan stated: “I am confident that the Information Security seminar conducted by the CIFAL Shanghai International Training Center will provide deep knowledge among the participants and create an opportunity to share the experience of the participating countries in the field of cybersecurity. My deep gratitude goes to the organizers for inviting the delegation of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia and for their warm reception.”

Through this program, the Armenian delegation will not only acquire new knowledge and skills but also have the opportunity to collaborate internationally, strengthening ties with representatives from both China and other participating countries.

The participation of representatives from the National Polytechnic University of Armenia in this program is a significant step in the development of educational and professional fields, strengthening international cooperation, and advancing the university’s policy of staff training.
