At the regular meeting of the Rector’s Office of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia, the process of construction of the 30 kW solar power plant and its installation on the roof of one of Polytechnic University buildings has been discussed.

The photovoltaic power plant is being built on the funds of the “Bulgarian Development Assistance”.

The professional team has presented the complex design package for the installation of the solar power plant, namely results of the site inspection and measurement, the designed schemes, the expected indicators of clean electricity production from the sun, as well as the results of the analysis carried out for the selection of photovoltaic panels and converters.

Please be informed that the grant agreement for the construction and installation of the solar power plant was signed at the end of the last year by NPUA Rector Gor Vardanyan and Kalin Anastasov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria.

This solar photovoltaic power plant will be designed and built only due to the efforts of NPUA professional team, namely, scientists, postgraduates, young professionals and technical employees.
