Polytechnic University delegation took part in the international forum “Nature Utilization and World Nature Heritage Protection” by the invitation of UNESCO

The international forum “Nature Utilization and World Nature Heritage Protection” has finished at the Saint Petersburg Mining University.

Director of the Institute of CT of the Polytechnic University Armen Hovhannisyan, Deputy Director for Scientific, Technological Cooperation and External Relations, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, as well as 8 students studying mining, replenishment of raw materials, metallurgy, and chemical technology took part in this important forum by the invitation of UNESCO International Center of Mining Education.

Delegations from 80 countries and more than 1000 participants took part in the international forum.

The topics referred to the modern problems worldwide as well as how to decrease the anthropogenic influence on the environment and to use the natural resources rationally.

The importance of mineral resources has taken a specific attention that is necessary for the sustainable development of the countries, especially for the investments in the branches of industry. Natural resources are a specific capital but their development requires efforts of the specialists.
