The Polytechnic University is of interest for European students: NPUA media specialist Nelli Chibukhchyan took part in “Hug the Hague. Youth Involvement in Democratic Institutions” program

Media specialist of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia Nelli Chibukhchyan took part in “Hug The Hague: Youth Involvement in Democratic Institutions” program organized by the foundation “Respect International West-East Bridges” held in Hague, the Netherlands.

Participants have come from 9 countries: Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Spain, Latvia, Germany, Greece and the Netherlands.

The primary goal of the program was the development of education management and inclusion of non-formal education in higher education institutions.

Participating countries presented issues and possible solutions in the sphere of education. Non-formal education in European countries comprises 30 percent of the learning process.

After the discussions Nelli Chibukhchyan identified all possible variants that can be applied at the technological university. Work groups presented exact work plans that should be implemented in their countries in cooperation with the Ministry.

On the last day of the program, while introducing the National Polytechnic University of Armenia, Nelli Chibukhchyan spoke about the importance of education in critical situations and about the alternative variants to organize it.

Students from 4 European technological universities participated in the program and they demonstrated huge interest in exclusive laboratories and education management style of the Polytechnic University.

Within the frames of the program, the Armenian delegation had meetings with the ambassador of Armenia to the Netherlands Tigran Balayan and ambassador of the Netherlands to Armenia Nicolas Jacob Schermersi.
