239 students have joined the big family of National Polytechnic University of Armenia graduates. Chairman of NPUA Board of Trustees Tigran Avinyan, Rector Gor Vardanyan, vice-rectors and academic staff were present at the 28th graduation event of Polytechnic College.
The students for the first time wearing their graduation uniform have received their diplomas personally from the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the rector of the university.
Chairman of NPUA Board of Trustees Tigran Avinyan in his congratulatory speech encouraged the students after their graduation to use their knowledge acquired at the vocational education institution.
“In Armenia, we need graduates of vocational education institutions. People mostly prefer universities and truth to be told, they leave those diplomas at home and work in completely other spheres. Meanwhile, the vocational education is very practical” – Tigran Avinyan specifically highlighted this fact.
Polytechnic University College is the biggest in Armenia and the best one and provides knowledge and skills necessary for future professional activities as well as at workplace. Chairman of the Board of Trustees ensured that everybody will find their calling and will be useful for the nation and country with the knowledge obtained at the Polytechnic University.
“Continuing your education is always acceptable but one should also understand which level is enough for them to start their work experience. The vocational education provides you the skills to start your work career. It does not mean that you should stop your education although you are already ready to start your new life and career and to have a real work”- Tigran Avinyan encouraged the graduates to move forward.
The Polytechnic University Rector assured that during these years the youth has been shaped as specialists with vocational education and specialization, acquired respective knowledge, educational care, upbringing and non-formal elements to help them to be more successful in their professional life.
“We together with the Chairman of the Board of Trustees were present at the graduation ceremony of Polytechnic Kindergarten: it has its own commandment. The education at the Polytechnic Complex starts from the age of two and the education quality at any educational degree is important for the Polytechnic University, its Board of Trustees, and the Rector’s Office as well as the occasion of graduation and successes in their professional life are of high importance for us” – NPUA Rector highlighted this fact and pointed out that the Polytechnic University with its huge capabilities, its big infrastructures is reflected like this – starting from the kindergarten to higher educational institution and its branches.
“You have become a part of Polytechnic graduates family where each has its unique role. The role depends on you, your desire to be a part of the Polytechnic University and stay next to it: this will also be the success of the Polytechnic University. I would like to highlight that your success is the success of the Polytechnic University so you should be extremely successful as a part of it should stay with us” – Rector Gor Vardanyan added.
Students being impressed by their study years and warm attitude towards them expressed their gratitude for this extreme care towards them. They pointed out that every path leads somewhere and where exactly will be discovered only when going there. They have chosen the college path so that they will become a demanded specialist. They confess that college has opened many opportunities for them and most importantly they have become real Polytechnic University members. They ensured that after this stage of their life, a new stage will start and again at the Polytechnic University.
They say it is honor to be a venerable Polytechnic University member.
And college director Raffi Karamyan ensured those present that graduation from the school of powerful engineering though is a dream for many people. The ones that graduate from the Polytechnic University know that they have a huge responsibility to make Armenia great day by day.
