The Polytechnic University hosted representatives of “EU4Energy” program

On June 7, the National Polytechnic University of Armenia hosted the representatives of “EU4Energy” program, manager of the regional office of Eu4Energy program Esther Sueleni, assistant of EU4Energy program Nino Mukhnikashvili and coordinator of communication of EU4Energy program Nino Nikoleishvili.

Vice-rector for Internationalization and Reforms Sargis Asatryants, Head of the Department of International Relations Hranush Tovmasyan, Advisor of Sustainable Development and Environmental Programs Hayk Akarmazyan, Associate Professor of the Institute of Energetics and Electrical Engineering Andranik Arakelyan, employees of the Department of International Relations Alina Jzmechyan and Astghik Makaryan were present at the meeting.

While welcoming the guests, Vice-rector Asatryants presented the National Polytechnic University of Armenia and the expected reforms.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for future cooperation.

We should point out that on October 25-29, 2021, “EU4Energy” week took place online, and the students of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia took part in it.

It included series of 5 discussions: Foundations of energetic regulation, Electricity markets, Planning and modeling of energy systems, Gases in energy transfer and Network policy and regulation.

The program plans to create favorable environment for future energy specialists by obtaining practical knowledge from the experts.

“EU4Energy II” week unites the students that are specialized in the sphere of energy.

The program is aimed at the experts in the sphere of energetics of EU member states that will have an opportunity to discuss different aspects of EU Energy market and principles of its regulation as well as will speak about the Green Deal.

In the frames of cooperation of Eastern countries, “EU4Energy” week was organized by Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER), Energy Community Secretariat (ENCS) and International Energy Agency (IEA).
