The power of unity has won: contest-festival “Polytechnic Games” has been finalized

The closing ceremony of sports and cultural, intellectual contest-festival “Polytechnic Games 2021” took place at the National Polytechnic University of Armenia.

The young person flying high: this is the symbol of the sports and cultural, intellectual contest-festival “Polytechnic Games”.

This year, the games were dedicated to our friends that were killed in the 44 day long war. They have demonstrated an example of sacrifice and devotion to the homeland to the ones that live. Parents of our heroes were present at the closing ceremony of the Polytechnic Games.

The closing consisted of two parts. According to the decision of the Presidium of the Student Council on February 8, 2021, the Medal of Gratitude from the Polytechnic University Student Council was established and the Polytechnic University students for the protection of the homeland and exclusive devotion in the provision of security of the country and for their brevity are to be awarded post mortem.

During the closing ceremony of sports and cultural, intellectual contest-festival “Polytechnic Games 2021”, parents of the heroes of 44 day long war were awarded the Medals of Gratitude.

Parents of Sargis Tsaturyan, Shavarsh Benyaminyan, Ara Safaryan and Gevorg Grigoryan were awarded the Medals of Gratitude.

The NPUA High School team has taken the first place at sports and cultural, intellectual contest-festival “Polytechnic Games 2021”, the second place was taken by the team of the Institute of ICTE and the third place was taken by NPUA College.

In the second part of the contest-festival, parents of the heroes of 44 day war awarded Certificates and Nominal Cups to the teams that have won in the sport types dedicated to their sons.

The teams that have taken the 1st, the 2nd and the 3rd places at the sports and cultural, intellectual contest-festival “Polytechnic Games 2021” were awarded with Certificates and Cups by NPUA Vice-rector Elbak Elbakyan.

The first Polytechnic Games took place in 2014 by the Student Council. It has its traditions.
