The congratulations speech of the rector Gor Vardanyan on New Year’s Day and Merry Christmas

Dear Polytechnic staff, dear friends Several hours later, the new 2022 will come. At New Year’s Eve, we all evaluate the year we have spent in retrospective. It was an extremely important year for the Polytechnic University, while having a strategic significance for the future. In 2021, the Polytechnic University as well as all the other educational institutions attempted to overcome the terrible consequences of the war and restrictions posed by the pandemic and return to their day-to-day functioning and life. In the course of this year we continued our successful functioning and operations, continued to make our university prosper and tried to create value at the university, find new ways to develop our university in the coming years. We should also confess that it was being done under complex conditions, but our Polytechnic family, being really united, managed to walk this path with dignity. As I have mentioned during my meetings with the teaching staff of the university, we are going to implement a series of new programs aimed at educational and scientific activities and internationalization of the university, to establish new infrastructures, to make our work relationships with regional branches more efficient, to enrich our materials and technical base, to objectively increase our salary funds, to review and introduce new educational programs, to expand financial sources entering the university, to increase the number of foreign students, to install electronic management and education systems, as well as to make strong bonds with worldwide Polytechnic population by means of alumni association and we will accomplish all these together, united and unified and the coming year will be fundamental for accomplishing it all. I wish all of us to work together in the coming year for the establishment and creation of the Polytechnic University we have always dreamed of.

Dear Polytechnic population I would like to express gratitude to our heroes who protected and gave us a new life while losing their own lives, to mothers who bore heroes, with their characteristics of real Armenian women and who instilled power and the will to live in us, to the teaching staff and administration of the university who worked with complete dedication and creativity, to students who are motivated to study and become the best to maintain the memory of their friends, heroes who died during the war.

Dear friends, I send my sincere wishes to all of you, congratulate on New Year and Merry Christmas, wishing you and your relatives to be healthy and happy. Let the coming year be full of achievements. I wish you a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas.
