Subject Olympiad 2021-2022 has already started. Schoolchildren compete in ‘Mathematics’, ‘Physics’, ‘Astrology’, ‘Biology’, ‘Informatics’, ‘Chemistry’ and ‘Geography’ school subjects. The winners will enter the next, difficult yet honorable stage. The Olympiads are organized in three stages namely, school, regional, republican and are carried out in respective groups according to grades. Variants of tasks introduced for all stages of the Olympiad according to groups are developed by the republican commission. Names of the pupils from NPUA High school who achieved success at the Subject Olympiad are known. Davit Yayloyan and Garik Mirakyan achieved success in Informatics, Arsen Asatryan, Azat Torosyan, Narek Movsisyan, Seda Revazyan, Maria Danielyan, Hasmik Hovsepyan, Hayk Hovsepyan – in mathematics, Sona Grigoryan, Aram Zaqaryan, Vladimir Manukyan, Hrachya Mikoyan, Artashes Mkrtchyan, Ani Mkhitaryan – in astrology, Sona Karapetyan – in geography achieved success. Regional stage of the Subject Olympiad is the upcoming one. Deputy Director of NPUA High school Nelli Hambardzumyan assures that the success achieved at the Olympiad is a strong sign of high quality education.
