The Polytechnic University and HayPost have signed the Memorandum of Understanding

 

On December 14, Rector of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia
Gor Vardanyan and the chief executive officer of HayPost CJSC Hayk
Karapetyan signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
NPUA vice-rector, Chief of Staff Elbak Elbakyan, Vice Rector for Educational
Programs and Teaching Affairs Marinka Baghdasaryan, Vice Rector for
International Cooperation and Educational Reforms Sargis Asatryants, Vice
Rector For Science and Technological Cooperation Areg Grigoryan, Vice
Rector For Economic Activity and Infrastructure Maintenance Karapet
Torchyan, directors of the institutes, deans, lecturers and students were
present at the ceremony of signing of the Memorandum of Understanding.
NPUA rector G. Vardanyan expressed his gratitude for the formation of
mutually beneficial connection and for the establishment of new cooperation.
“We observe the program reforms of Haypost Company with great interest
and see how HayPost involves digital systems of postal services and
application of digital technology. We hope that we have an opportunity to
initiate new ideas by this cooperation. The Polytechnic University shows its
willingness to contribute its program, infrastructure and content potential for
this efficient cooperation,”- G. Vardanyan pointed out. The rector highlighted
the importance of this cooperation for the creation of practical, professional
experience for the students of the university that can be further provided by
the cooperation with HayPost Company. The rector pointed out that the Polytechnic University and HayPost CJSC
are unique national institutions in their specific spheres and can dictate new
qualities for the economy of the country and development of national
infrastructures.

“We are grateful to National Polytechnic University of Armenia for this new
cooperation, within the framework of which the students will be able to obtain
practical knowledge at HayPost by the highly qualified programmers working
at our subsidiary iNovation. We will enable the best students to work at one of

the rapidly developing companies and the biggest chain in RA”, – the
executive director Hayk Karapetyan pointed out.

After the Memorandum signing ceremony H. Karapetyan introduced their
achievements, the digitalization process, the iNovation subsidiary, developed
software solutions and expected news to the students and teaching staff of
the university.
The memorandum aims at increasing the quality of education of the students
as well as the enrichment of practical experience. It will serve as an efficient
platform for the implementation of mutual programs, the major beneficiary of
which is the students.
According to Memorandum of Understanding, the students of National
Polytechnic University of Armenia will be able to obtain practical knowledge in
the company delivered by highly qualified programmers working at their
subsidiary iNovation.
The best students will have an opportunity to work at a rapidly developing
company of Armenia that is also the biggest chain.
We initiate to organize externships and scientific research internships
according to the memorandum as well as seminars and organization of
professional discussions at HayPost. National Polytechnic University of
Armenia and HayPost will strive to constantly discuss and develop the most
efficient modes of cooperation for the improvement of educational programs
and their application in business sphere.
