Program objectives

General aims of the project MODEST are to expand the level of cooperation between higher education institutions of partner countries at the European higher education and research platform for doctoral studies. The main objectives of the project are as follows:

To improve quality and employability of doctoral alumni in higher education institutions of cooperating countries by modernizing doctoral education’s internationalization, by increasing mobility level, using new teaching methods according to Zalsburg principles and BFGU consultations,
To facilitate combination of the toolkit according to Bologna process and to organize special training courses for academic and administrative staff of higher education institutions of partner countries,
To develop research and skills of the education staff, train them with new teaching methods, establish modern and research environment based on student-centered approach and competitive program development,
To improve the structure and internal potential of doctoral education and research services while establishing doctoral education centers in higher education institutions of partner countries. To provide its stability and cooperation with European partner countries as well as to establish cooperation by means of information technology toolkits.
