RA President Armen Sargsyan visited National Polytechnic University of Armenia on July 3.  The president visited the newly-opened educational and research center of Aerial Robotics, where the students demonstrated unmanned aerial vehicles and their capabilities. 

Afterwards, RA president got acquainted with the functioning of the Centers for Excellence “Tashir Cascade Holding” and “Schneider Electric-Tashir”. The students introduced to the President the control devices of electric power systems as well as calculation, testing and measuring devices. 

The students also introduced modern laboratory equipment in the spheres of robotics, communication and telecommunications at the Armenian National Engineering Laboratory.

The president in the interview with the correspondents pointed out that there are main directions in Armenia based on which we can build our future.

“I was happy to see today everything we believe and dream to hear and see about Armenia some years later. There are all the prerequisites for it on the territory of the Polytechnic University. There are students getting the right specialization and accurate knowledge and an academic staff that prepares students as well as huge international organizations in the buildings of the university.  

The students deal with serious educational processes and scientific research works. When visiting this place you understand that a great number of young people have a desire to get modern engineering specialization and there are main directions in Armenia to build the future. Therefore, this was a kind of small visit into our great future”, – Armen Sargsyan pointed out.   

He highlighted that as an official and individual, who has specific international connections with international organizations so he is ready to assist the students.

“Students have spoken about several ideas and my main goal will be to help and assist them to achieve their goals on the right time and our country to become the one we all dream of”. – Mr. Sargsyan told.
