On April 11, in the yard of “Yerevan Expo” exhibition hall of Yerevan Mathematical Machines Scientific Research Institute, 18th International specialized exhibition opening “Education and Career EXPO-2018” took place that is one of the biggest events in the sphere of education in Armenia. National Polytechnic University of Armenia also participated in the exhibition.
Deputy Minister of RA Education and Science V. Mkrtchyan welcomed all the participants and guests of the annual international specialized exhibition that has already become tradition.
Deputy Minister pointed out: “We open a traditional exhibition that is a unique platform today and where the university meets the employers, schoolchildren and students meet university representatives and businesspeople. On such platforms, we will solve professional orientation problems as well and will be able to build a triangle that is the basis of the reforms adopted by the Ministry of Education and Science that is the educational triangle ‘science-education-economy’. I hope that after the end of this exhibition many businesspeople and universities will present their offers and sign specific agreements. Nowadays, Armenia faces an important educational cycle that is the cycle of high changes that start from the sphere of higher education. I consider it possible that some time later the sphere of higher education will have good results due to the strong connection of the above-mentioned triangle and this exhibition will assist it as well”. Deputy Minister expressed his gratitude to the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen and “Logos Expo” Center for the organization of the exhibition.
The requirements of education and career when organizing it are the correct orientation of profession, new criteria for education service quality and expected results. From this point of view, “Education and Career Expo 2018” exhibition is an additional opportunity for the youth to assess the efficiency of study services offered.
In the exhibition, NPUA presented its innovative educational, scientific and research and international programs with issues of the Press dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Print and “The Polytechnic” newsletter and the first university-wide iPolytech application.
iPolytech application is the best information program assisting the admission process of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia that is available in APP store, Google Play platforms and is for people interested in engineering education.
By means of the application, schoolchildren, their parents and future applicants can get detailed information on the programs implemented at the university.
The whole educational and laboratory base of the Polytechnic University was presented to the visitors of the exhibition by means of super-sensitive interactive monitor with 360 stories 3D glasses. The program allows us to organize a virtual tour around the Polytechnic University right from the pavilion. Prezi application devoted to “Education 21st century” was also introduced made up from spatial images presented to the Polytechnic University.
The Polytechnic University was introduced at the exhibition by its Yerevan educational complex, College and High School. NPUA together with its resources, innovation centers, new and longtime functioning laboratories is presented on one platform where a series of reputable educational institutions introduce their cooperation offers.
Deputy Minister visited the pavilion of National Polytechnic University of Armenia, had a virtual tour in the Polytechnic University and got acquainted with the first university iPolytech application.
The visitors received detailed information on the Institutes of the Polytechnic University, its faculties, High School and College on the pages of the informational booklets from the pavilion where scientific and innovative infrastructures of the university are presented.
Such exhibitions enable schoolchildren and students to familiarize themselves with specialties, leadership role in career, orientation in the labor market and a series of issues and challenges.
Many visitors were interested in study programs offered by the National Polytechnic University of Armenia, scientific, research life of the university that were addressed and answered by the person responsible for the Polytechnic University exhibition, employee of NPUA Public Relations and Press L. Avagyan. Representatives of senior generation and applicants and parents visited our pavilion. The exhibition will function will April 13.
